BarkingMad Promotions Refund and Exchange Policy
At BarkingMad Promotions, we strive to provide a seamless experience for our event attendees. However, we understand that sometimes plans change. Our refund and exchange policy is designed to align with UK law and ensure clarity for our customers.
Refunds and Exchanges
We can only offer refunds or exchanges if an event has been cancelled or rescheduled. If your event has been cancelled or isn’t going ahead on the date originally planned, you’ll be able to find more information on our Event Status Updates page. In such cases, BarkingMad Promotions will email you with details about the cancellation or rescheduling.
In accordance with UK consumer law, you are entitled to a refund if the event is cancelled or significantly altered. This includes changes to the date, time, or venue. For more detailed information on your rights under UK law, please refer to the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Popular Events and Additional Dates
For highly popular events, additional dates may sometimes be added. Unfortunately, we are unable to exchange bookings for any new dates that might become available.
Booking Through Eventbrite
Most of our event tickets are sold through Eventbrite. If you booked your tickets directly through Eventbrite, please follow their specific procedures for refunds and exchanges. Eventbrite will process refunds for events cancelled or rescheduled by BarkingMad Promotions.
Ticket Resale
If you booked directly through BarkingMad Promotions, you can always check out our Ticket Exchange. Simply log into your BarkingMad Promotions account to get started, and we’ll guide you through the process. Visit our FAQ page for more information on selling tickets. Please note that not all events are eligible for resale.
Resale Tickets
Resale tickets are purchased from an individual seller and not directly from BarkingMad Promotions. Therefore, we cannot offer refunds on these tickets. For the same reason, we are also unable to exchange resale tickets for different ones.

Request a refund directly from your Eventbrite account
Eventbrite automatically creates an account with the email address you use to purchase tickets. If the event organizer allows refund requests for the event you purchased tickets for, you’ll see the option to request a refund in your account:
- Log in to Eventbrite.
- Go to Tickets.
- Find the order you want refunded, then select Request a refund.
- Enter your details and submit your request. The organizer should respond within five business days.
Select Contact the organizer if you don’t see the option to request a refund or you have a question about the status of your refund request.
Refunds for postponed or cancelled events
Eventbrite requires event organizers to approve refund requests in certain situations. If the organizer denies your refund request, or if you don’t receive a response, check if your order meets one of these refund qualifications:
- The event was cancelled within the last 45 days.
- The event has been postponed for more than 90 days without a new date scheduled.
If your order qualifies, you have 45 days and until the event is rescheduled to contact Eventbrite through the Attendee Refund Request form. Eventbrite can only refund payments processed using Eventbrite Payment Processing (your bank statement would say EB [event title] SAN FRANCISCO CA).
Eventbrite is unable to issue refunds outside of these circumstances. If your order doesn’t qualify for a refund, contact the organizer for further help.
