Saturday – Day Two

Retfest Comedy Festival’s second day was packed with a diverse lineup of comedians and venues. The day started off with a special tribute to the late Cornish comedian Jethro, hosted at the Snooker Club. The variety of acts paid homage to Jethro’s unique style of comedy and set the tone for the rest of the day.

In the early evening, Ten Green Bottles was the place to be with a lineup featuring Annabell Edwards, Billy McGuire, Tharun Challey and Adam Unwin. The crowd was fully engaged and laughing throughout the entire set.

Later in the evening, comedy enthusiasts had the choice of two venues to check out, The Brick & Tile and The Packet Inn. The Brick & Tile featured Griff, Oli Clarke, Ian Alerston and Patrick Larringtondale, while The Packet Inn had a stacked lineup of Angela Bra Life, Glen Maney, Lauren Smith, Phil Alexander, Jason Simmons, Griff, Ian Peskett and Oli Clarke. Both venues were packed with people enjoying the comedic performances.


Overall, Day Two of Retfest was a success, with a great variety of comedians and venues to choose from, and a fitting tribute to the late Jethro.


It was a great day, with a packed schedule, it was a great way to spend a Saturday night. With a diverse line-up of comedians and venues, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The tribute to Jethro was a nice touch, and it was great to see comedians paying homage to the late Cornish comedian.
